Rhombus Sax Quartet is a saxophone quartet that began its journey in 2015, when four students from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla-La Mancha (CSMCLM) decided to form a chamber music group under the guidance of saxophone professor David Pons Grau. That same year, they earned an honorable mention in the Cofrentes Chamber Music Competition.
Since then, the quartet has contributed to the expansion of the saxophone quartet repertoire, with transcriptions and arrangements of works by numerous composers such as Mendelssohn, Bach, Ligeti, Vivaldi, and Debussy, among many others.
They have also supported the creation of music for saxophone and organ, participating in the tenth edition of the Orgue en Fête festival in Bergerac, in collaboration with saxophone professor and soloist Antonio Felipe Belijar and the renowned organist Javier Sáez Docón.
